Inventions are created due to necessity - and that's how our story begins...

We met at a baby class when our kids were 8 months old and became fast friends. As friends do, we chatted about numerous things; our kids, our husbands, and the most recent Hollywood gossip. Surprisingly, one topic we often returned to, was how hard it was to keep our kids' pants up. Agreeing that three years old was too young to be showing skin, the search was on for the perfect belt.

Unfortunately, or fortunately, for Loops Chicago, none were to be found. Neither chain stores nor the cute local Chicago boutiques carried belts for little ones. Therefore, we decided to design and create our own.

Soon our friends caught wind of these fun designs and wanted some for their tiny tots. Those became an instant hit due to the large selection of trims and assortment of buckles that could be mixed-and-matched to personalize their creations. Through our family and friends' encouragement, we quickly designed a line of sassy belts for women.

To make this long story short, this brings us to present day. Well, let's not forget to mention lots of hard work and much trial & error that came in-between.

Our 100% reversible, funky and fun trim belts are quickly becoming a staple and can be found at more than 35 women and children boutiques throughout the Chicago-land area. We hope that you enjoy them as much as we do. For us, they've become a labor of love that's grown into much, much more!

All in all, we are hoping Loops Chicago will become a recognized and sought after line of accessories that everyone loves!
